Prevention & Safety

Fire Prevention and Public Education

One of the most important aspects of firefighting is preventing a fire before it starts.

The Bellport Fire Department is committed to the education of adults and children in preventing and surviving fires. We have an extensive fire prevention program that utilizes a variety of methods to teach fire safety to the general public as well as our own members.
